Average Prices Up From This Time Last Year
The GTA Market is currently in a state of flux with mixed indicators showing up.
While year over year sales for the year are up the number of sales to date in the month are down. The average sale price for October Mid Month transactions is also up from the first 14 days of October in 2009.

prices are surely creeping slightly up in certain regions of the U.S. ,, some are stagnant, some have increased ...its broken down into sections for some places such as california ...southern california is seeing action but prices remain somewhat stagnent ...but in san francisco we have seen double digit price appreciation for the past few years....modest but were headed in the right direction
Carlos - We love to hear good news about the real estate market anywhere in North America.
Kathy, our prices are still flat in most price levels, the entry level market is selling well, so I expect that we will begin to notice a slight climb in that level of our market as well.

This falls into the usual pattern, and the 30 October prices should be equal to the May high.

Tony and Darcy - Thats good news ..... It sounds like the The Recovery Train is headed your way.
Brian - Usual for the average prices but unusual for the number of sales as they appear to be headed in between 2008 and 2009's figures
Kathy - our prices have been holding or better all year, its the activity level the past few months that was concerning, though October seems to be shaping up as a bit of a bounceback.
David - perhaps a more stable market will come of it.
Kathy, with prices holding their own and slightly increasing is a bell weather of good things to come.
